Women have long been pestered with unwanted hair all their lives. They do not want to look masculine and this is the reason for the dilemma for some who have darker and thick hairs. As people who have thin hair grown on their entire body don’t count this as a problem, others who have otherwise have been moving mountains just to maintain how they look and have tried on different hair removal methods. But what is the best method to take? Here is a list from where you can choose from:

Consider Shaving: The fastest way to remove hair is by this method. This is an inexpensive process that involves a razor that you can buy cheap at any drugstore and a gel; other women use cream to soften the hair and the skin from where it is going to be removed from. Hair can grow in a matter of three days and then you have to do it over again. If you’re in a shower, try to shave with warm water flowing from it as you pull the skin, stretching it tightly so as to have a better shave. Do it slowly as you might cut your skin by the sharpness of the blade. You can use an electric razor to make the process faster.

Try Plucking: This is the cheapest and widely used by women. Paraphernalia needed is just a pair of tweezers. Be sure that you boil it first to have a sterilized one as sometimes it comes in direct contact with the skin which is drew open when plucking the hair out of the hair follicles. Hair growth is retarded up to eight weeks. The only thing is that, it takes you to take out growth one piece at a time. Plucking is a painful method and it leaves the skin with open and swollen pores.

Choose depilatories: These are creams that take away unwanted growth from areas on your body. This can give you extra time to do other things as it allows growth on the next 2 weeks. Available at drugstores and even in groceries, this can be worked on fast as this hair removal method is done by just a simple application. This is favorable for women who have thin hair. Be wary of the fact that there have been allergic reactions on several women as strong chemicals are composites of depilatories. It is advisable to carefully read the instructions found on the packaging.

Work on Wax: This method will enable you to do the next waxing three up to six weeks after the time you first waxed. This procedure can be tried at home or can be done in a salon. Applying the wax on the skin where the process has to take place is easy as you put a cloth over it and pull it off together with unwanted hair including the dead skin that grows in the area. Waxing leaves the skin with a smooth finish and the next time it grows, hair will seem lighter in shade unlike shaving wherein the hair grows thicker than the usual. There is a sting that causes short pain when the cloth is being pulled. The skin is then left reddish due to the impact.

Electrolysis and Laser Use: These are products of high technology and promises permanent hair removal. But there are testimonials coming from those who have undergone treatments that there still has to be a maintenance right after it is done. It can take you another six months up to a year to go back for further treatment.
